METHODOLOGY

TNKC METHOD is a set of own resources used in the development of English lessons in all THE NEW KIDS CLUB centres. TNKC METHOD is mainly based on games, fun and creativity, resulting in a natural way of learning English.   

Our aim is that all our students can acquire the English language naturally. A language is "acquired", not merely "learnt"; our methodology is very close to the students. The TNKC METHOD expects our students to have rich vocabulary, natural phonetics, as well as excellent writing, reading and comprehension skills. Our lessons meet our students' ages enabling us to work with babies from 1 year old until they are 12 - 13, that is to say, compulsory education.

HOW IS OUR METHOD APPLIED?

FULL IMMERSION IN THE CLASSROOM
Our lessons are a hundred per cent in English from the very start; we never translate.

ENTERTAINING AND AMUSING SESSIONS
We boost the student’s acceptance and attitude. Our lessons are  carried out in small, homogeneous groups ( maximum 8 pupils per class) where every kid takes part. The integration of all our students is encouraged; furthermore, setting homework is not necessary until they are 12-13 years old.

WHAT IS VALUED?

THE STUDENT'S POSSIBILITIES AND ABILITIES
Every student has their own possibilities anb abilities.
The student's improvement and development are assessed along the school year.
Our students are not classified only by their age.
The method is adapted to children showing either High Intelectual Abilities or ADHD or ADD.

COMMUNICATION WITH PARENTS

The school’s management permanently reports  any incident that may arise along the school year either personally or on-line through our educational platform. The school’s management issues two reports during the school year where the students’ progress is explained. These reports show the behaviour, the progress and the attitude towards learning.

THE QUALITY OF THE TEACHERS
TNKC Headquarters rigorously recruits teachers who are fully trained in the TNKC METHOD.
A constant follow-up of the work is carried out.

WHAT EXTRA HOMEWORK MUST OUR PUPILS DO OUT OF THE CLASSROOM?

The students attending the TNKC centres needn't do any extra homework as long as they observe the number of weekly sessions they must attend according to their level. It is also unnecessary for both parents and students to listen to any CD at home in order to obtain better results.

FAQs

Do we succeed in getting our baby boys and girls to speak English and hage great fun? 
Certainliy; especially once they have adapted to our methodology (1 to 3 months). 
 

Must our students do homework at home?
 No; until they are 12-13 years old or they achieve KET level (A2) and higher.
 

Do parents need to work with their children to listen to CDs?
Not at all.
 

Can my children obtain an official certificate from the age of 7?
Certainly they can, at our schools.
 

Do we work on the main English skills?
Yes, we do. We work on vocabulary, grammar, phonetics, comprehension and use of English. 
 

Is the student's result certified in writing?
Certainly; parents are continously informed and a report showing the results is provided at the end of the school year.
